Knowing how to ask for help and knowing how to give the right sort of help (it isn’t always about fixing things!) can cause a lot of angst.
As peer group support is a big part of what we do we’ve invited David Brown to start this session with an exercise that helps us get into the right frame of mind to be more comfortable about both asking for and giving help.

Here’s how our meetings work:
* We call it Subtle Networking because no-one likes to be sold to, so instead of sales pitches we get to know each other as people first, business second.
* We share knowledge because all of us are smarter than any one of us and collaboration lets everyone grow.
* Spend 20 minutes learning about a topic, 20 minutes in conversation in breakout rooms and 20 minutes discussing how to apply what you’ve learned.
* Connect with people you find useful or interesting and carry on the conversations in our private Slack Group or LinkedIn Group.
* There are no geographical barriers, no small talk, no lukewarm coffee – just great conversations that share knowledge and build trust.
“I’ve found being a member of this funky, fun and feisty tribe invaluable. It’s a supportive haven and an invaluable knowledge hub to plug into. I’ve also benefitted from Ann’s direct support. She has been a steadfast, supportive coach and thinking partner and helped me hold steady and be accountable as well as facilitate my thinking and be in my corner.” Thor Rain, The Helpful Clinic
We’d love you to join us and see how it works!
Trust is the basis of all good relationships and our unique style of Subtle Networking allows small business owners, freelancers, coaches and other solo professionals to learn, support and collaborate with no sales pitches as you build the style of business and the lifestyle that suits you.
We’ve been doing this successfully for eight years with some awesome members who are always happy to share their experience and expertise.
Guests welcome.
