Welcome!
Life isn’t simple and there is no One Size Fits All so we’ve made the benefits of Drive membership as accessible as possible – Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere!
Take a few minutes to find out the best ways to connect with other members and make the most of your membership.
To get the most benefit from the network don’t just choose one way to connect, switch between them to meet as many people as possible: Find out how you can help them and how they can help you.
Support is a two way street and that means you need to show up to know who needs you and not just when you need them.
Using the Website
Log in to the Drive website using the email address you used to join. Create a password and use this log in to control your payments. Your account and payments are always in your control.
When you are logged in you can access the Premium Learning Hub content and the Six Step Programme to help you grow your business.
Details of all our meetings and links to Zoom are under the Events tab.
Check the Members List to make sure you’re connected with everyone on LinkedIn and understand what they do.
Slack Group
The main channel of communication for members is our Slack Group.
This is much easier to use on a laptop / desktop in a browser than on mobile. You need to enable notifications.
In Slack you’ll see introductions to new members, weekly goal setting, updates on events, questions and discussions
Use it to get feedback on ideas, answers to questions, and support whenever you need it.
Show up to help others, not just when you need help.
Share your goals every week in the #weekly-goals channel and you’ll get support and encouragement and see what other people are doing and how they do it.
Post links to your latest blog posts and LinkedIn posts in the #linkedin-blog-podcasts channel and other members will give you feedback, comments and share with their network where appropriate and of course, you do the same for them.
Always “answer in a thread” (not so easy on mobile) to keep comments on a topic easy to find and keep the content searchable.
Keep all your Drive communications in one place and out of emails.
Direct Messages can be used for 1-1 or small group chats.
LinkedIn Page and LinkedIn Group
Drive Events
However little time you have or whatever your circumstances, we’ve designed our events to help everyone connect and network. If you can’t make the events in person you can join in the discussion in the Slack Group and read the write ups in The Learning Hub on the website.
Premium and Premium Plus members can run their own Ask the Expert meetings.
All information is on the Events Page.
Newsletters
We have two newsletters – one just for Members which is a quick but essential update on important news and one to a general list of over 2,000 subscribers that promotes members and their events and news. Please check they’re not going into your spam folder.
Learning Hub
There is a wealth of information on every topic related to keeping both you and your business healthy and thriving. If you can’t find what you need, just ask and we’ll point you to the best sources.
Mentoring
Peer Group mentoring is available in our Slack Group where you can ask any question and get help from other members.
1-1 mentoring is available to Premium and Premium Plus members from Drive Founder, Ann Hawkins, accessed through the Slack Group.
Finally – if you enjoy being part of Drive, please invite other small business owners to join. The bigger the range of expertise we have, the more everyone benefits!
