Welcome!
Life isn’t simple and there is no One Size Fits All so we’ve made the benefits of Drive membership as accessible as possible – Anytime, Anyplace, Anywhere!
Take a few minutes to find out the best ways to connect with other members and make the most of your membership.
To get the most benefit from the network don’t just choose one way to connect, switch between them to meet as many people as possible: Find out how you can help them and how they can help you.
Support is a two way street and that means you need to show up to know who needs you and not just when you need them.
Using the Website

Log in to the Drive website using the email address you used to join. Create a password and use this log in to control your payments. Your account and payments are always in your control.
Details of all our meetings and links to Zoom are under the Events tab.
Check the Members List to make sure you’re connected with everyone on LinkedIn and understand what they do.
Slack Group

The main channel of communication for members is our Slack Group.
This is much easier to use on a laptop / desktop in a browser than on mobile. You need to enable notifications.
In Slack you’ll see introductions to new members, weekly goal setting, updates on events, questions and discussions
Use it to get feedback on ideas, answers to questions, and support whenever you need it.
Show up to help others, not just when you need help.
Share your goals every week in the #weekly-goals channel and you’ll get support and encouragement and see what other people are doing and how they do it.
Post links to your latest blog posts and LinkedIn posts in the #linkedin-blog-podcasts channel and other members will give you feedback, comments and share with their network where appropriate and of course, you do the same for them.
Always “answer in a thread” (not so easy on mobile) to keep comments on a topic easy to find and keep the content searchable.
Keep all your Drive communications in one place and out of emails.
Direct Messages can be used for 1-1 or small group chats. As well as text messages, you can leave voice or video messages for other members
LinkedIn Page

Follow our LinkedIn PAGE
Post a link to your LinkedIn posts in our Slack Group to make it easy for other members to find and comment on them. You can do the same for other members’ posts if the content is something that will interest your contacts.
Share your offerings, events, blog posts, and news with our wider network at any time, any day of the week.
Drive Events

Our structured weekly on-line peer group meetings are the main way you will benefit from your membership. Add them to your calendar and try to attend every week. If you miss a meeting you can catch up with the after-meeting discussion in the Slack Group.
All information is on the Events Page.
Newsletters

Our newsletter promotes members and your events and news.
If you have items you’d like to have included in the newsletter share it in the #members-updates-news-newsletters channel in the Slack Group.
Mentoring

Peer Group mentoring is always available in our Slack Group where you can ask any question and get help from other members.
1-1 mentoring is available to Premium and Premium Plus members from Drive Founder, Ann Hawkins, accessed through the Slack Group.
Finally – if you enjoy being part of Drive, please invite other small business owners to join. The bigger the range of expertise we have, the more everyone benefits!
