Knowing your blind spots

3rd May @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

£13.00 – £16.00

Being self-aware is one of our greatest strengths. Having blind spots is our biggest weaknesses.

Sam Dods is no exception. He co-founded and grew a global business, and it took him years to discover that he personally had adverse affect on it’s performance. He was blind to the aspects of his own character and personality that were causing the problems until he could no longer avoid them. This was something Sam worked very hard to change.

No one is perfect, we all have a mixture of good and bad points, strengths and weaknesses – acknowledging and accepting those darker aspects of ourselves that we don’t like to look at can help us in so many ways.

We can do a lot to discover these blind spots individually but it’s a lot more effective and enjoyable with input from the people we trust – friends, family, mentors and/or fellow team members – people with different blind spots who we should really listen to. Understanding these blind spots and managing their self-destructive impact are key to both personal happiness and business success.

Fun (sort of) activities

This is going to be a fun and interactive session with lots of group activities and the opportunity to explore our own personal blind spots privately.

We often talk about the ‘business toolbox’ that every business owner needs to have and this is a must have tool, the monkey wrench of all monkey wrenches, the biggest hammer with the lightest of touches, the magic wand that can have an impact on all aspects of our lives.
